The Council invites local elected officials, members of the business community, citizens groups, and other members of the public to comment on air quality issues and the work of the RAQC.

3:10     VI.        Approval of Workplan for Ozone Photochemical Modeling
                        (See Enclosure)

Staff will present the final workplan for ozone photochemical modeling for Council approval.  Staff will also discuss comments and suggestions from the Modeling Stakeholder meeting held on October 25.

            Action:  Authorize implementation of workplan with modeling contractor

3:25     VII.       Update on Stakeholder Involvement Meetings

Staff will update the Council on stakeholder meetings that are planned for the next two months.

            Action:  Information

3:35     VIII.      Discussion of Potential Ozone Control Strategies for the 2008 Ozone Season                                                        (Discussion paper will be available on www.ozoneaware.org by 10/29/07)

RAQC and APCD staff will present for Council’s discussion and consideration potential ozone control strategies that can be implemented by the 2008 ozone season.  Council will also consider potential strategies offered by other interested parties.  Council will take comment on potential strategies through November and finalize a list of 2008 strategies to recommend to Governor Ritter in December.

            Action:  Discussion and direction to staff

5:20     IX.        Administrative Items

·         Approve of contract to provide Alternative Power Units for diesel trucks for an EPA-funded pilot project.

·         Election of Vice Chair.
