The Council invites local elected officials, members of the business community, citizens groups, and other members of the public to comment on air quality issues and the work of the RAQC.

3:15     VI.        2008 Work Program and Budget 

            Council will review the organization’s proposed work program and budget for 2008.  Staff will also provide Council with background information on the RAQC’s financial operations, including historical and current sources of funding and expenditures.

Action:   Approve 2008 work program and budget

4:00     VII.       2008 Ozone Outreach and Awareness Program

            RAQC is slated to receive $2.1 million in Congestion Mitigation/Air Quality grant funding for ozone outreach projects over the next four years in DRCOG’s 2008-2013 Transportation Improvement Program, which will be approved in March.  Staff will outline a proposed program and budget for 2008.

                   Action:   Approve 2008 ozone outreach program and budget

4:30     VIII.      Clean Air Fleets Diesel Emission Reduction Program

Staff will give Council a briefing on the RAQC’s diesel emission reduction program – past, present and future.

         Action:   Information

5:00     IV.        Discussion of RAQC Legislative Role and Legislation of Interest

Council will review any legislation of interest and discuss the RAQC’s role in following the legislation.   

Action:  Positions and direction on legislation of interest

5:30     VIII.      Adjourn

the North Front Range Metropolitan Planning Organization .
