The Council invites local elected officials, members of the business community, citizens groups, and other members of the public to comment on air quality issues and the work of the RAQC.

3:15     VI.        Discussion of VOC Stationary Source Strategies
                       (Enclosures: Draft Issue Papers from April 4,2008)

Staff from the Air Pollution Control Division will present the analysis of potential VOC stationary source control strategies, including oil and gas industry strategies, for the Council’s discussion and consideration.

            Action:  Direction to move forward on recommended strategies. 
                          Further direction and final recommendations will occur at future meetings.

4:40     VII.       Approval of Content for Summer 2008 Ozone Media Advertising Campaign

Launch Advertising will present recommended content and messages for the ozone media advertising campaign.

            Action:  Approval of advertising content

5:05     VIII.      Discussion of Revised Local Government Funding Allocations

Council will discuss revised local government funding allocations based on the latest population and assessed valuation data.  Council will also discuss a strategy for getting more local governments involved in RAQC funding.

            Action:  Approval of local government funding allocations
