Reducing Ozone in the Front Range Region

Sponsored by the Regional Air Quality Council and the Air Quality Control Commission

NOW AVAILABLE:

Reducing Ozone in the Front Range Region
Recommendations for Future Action
(pdf)

The Ozone Group was an initiative of the Regional Air Quality Council, the Air Quality Control Commission, and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. The group's goal was to inform local government representatives, businesses, and other stakeholders of the current ozone condition in the Front Range region and to develop additional measures to keep the region in attainment of the ozone standards.

The first workshop included a technical overview, information on future emission trends, EPA's proposed Ozone Implementation Policy, the Voluntary Ozone Reduction Program, Voluntary and Mandatory Ozone Measures in other areas, and a brainstorming session on potential additional measures for consideration in the Front Range region. Additional meetings further developed the strategies outlined at the initial workshop. This page is designed to make available all meeting documents.

The information on this page is organized by meeting dates. Any reports produced by the group will also be available on the RAQC's Reports page under RAQC/AQCC Ozone Group.
