Ongoing Voluntary Ozone Reduction Tips

  • Limit driving as much as possible

  • Use paints and stains with lower VOC content

  • Use battery-operated or electric lawn equipment

  • Use a non-spill gas can when refueling

  • Store solvents and cleaning products in a cool, dry place

  • Walk to lunch rather than drive

  • Use pubic transportation at least once each week
  • Use water-based paints and stains or plan painting and staining projects for spring or fall
