CO and PM10 State Implementation Plan (SIP) Revisions

The Regional Air Quality Council and the Air Pollution Control Division have initiated a process to revise the current CO and PM10 Maintenance Plans.  The revised Plans will be updated using MOBILE6.2, the new DRCOG transportation model, and modeling with new data.  At the same time, the current mobile source strategies will be evaluated and new motor vehicle emissions budgets will be developed.

The documents below were approved by the RAQC on September 1, 2005 and were proposed to the AQCC on September 15, 2005 to be set for public hearing:

Based on comments from the Environmental Protection Agency regarding two-way trading, some language in the plans was revised.  Following the AQCC's prehearing process, the updated versions were submitted for consideration on October 26, 2005 and alternative language for emissions budget trading and construction-related emissions for the PM-10 Maintenance Plan on November 15, 2005.
